God is Great, Community is Good

My weekend at the Influence Conference was both exhausting and wonderful all wrapped up in one. The speakers? They were good, for sure… but the people? The people were amazing!
Friends who touch your shoulder as they walk by as if to just say, I see you there. Those who come up to give a random hug at just the right moment when you’re feeling so filled up and so empty all at the same time. Late night chats in hallways, with blood shot eyes you could barely hold open but conversations too good to end.

The connections. Oh the connections! There were I love you’s said (a phrase I don’t throw around loosely) and tears shed. Not like the typical love ya, as you might think. But true, mean it from the gut … ”love you…for real”s. It blew me away that people I just met could dig in so deep and be so much more than a pretty face and a friendly smile. They meant it and so did I.

What I walked away with was a picture of women who love the Lord, that are also a mess and it did my heart so good. There were tattoos, an abundance of nose rings, a curse word here and there and a half empty bottle of Pinot tucked away in a room.

THAT is what I needed to see. The authenticity of these christian women was so refreshing to me. It’s what makes me say, there is a place for me here! What marks my place in this community with women who are as real as it gets and seeking Him in all they do.
Too many of us think we can’t talk about the gospel or be a light because we don’t have it all together yet. Because we aren’t far enough into our relationship with Christ to know what in the world we’re talking about. Because we feel like we need to be better versions of ourselves before we can talk to others about Him.

Not this group. These women? They get it. They get Him and His abounding grace. They get that our voices matter and it’s time we use them for good. Women who are standing firm in their authenticity while at the same time refusing to water down the gospel.
This is my tribe, my community, my messy Jesus seeking people.
God is great, community is good and I need both.

Shayari Collection on life

Nigaho mein manzil thi.
gire aur gir kar sambhalte rahe.
hawao ne bahut koshish ki.
magar chirag aandhiyo mein bhi jalte rahe…

The greatest pain in life is not to die, but to be ignored.
To lose the person you love so much to another who doesn't care at all.
To have someone you care so about so much throw a party...
and not tell you about it.
When your favorite person on earth neglects to invite you to his graduation.
To have people think that you don't care.

Mosam Hy Barish Ka Or Yaad Tumhari Aati Hy
Barish Ke Har Qatre Se Awaz Tumhari Aati Hy
Badal Jab Garajti Hy, Dil Ki Dhrkn Bharhti Hy
Dil Ki Hr 1 Dhrkn Se Awaz Tmhari Aati Hy
Jab Tez Hawaye Chalti Hy To Jaan Hmari Jati Hy
Mosam Hy Barish Ka Or Yaad Tmhari Ati Hy

India's First Prime Minister Speech

A Very Happy Independance Day!

Loved Indians,
Thousands laid down their lives so thatour country breath this day;
never forget their sacrifice.
Let us celebrate & enjoy the freedom to live
independently in our country Cheerfully,
Helpfully,Hopefully,Peacefullu by remembering
our National Heroes who gave us Freedom after suffering pain & humilation.

On 15 August 1947, India attained freedom from the British Rule. Every year, August 15 is celebrated as the Independence Day in India. This national festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year!
The Independence Day of any country is a moment of pride and glory. On this special occasion, rich tributes are paid to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives and fought to free their motherland from the clutches of the oppressors - British who ruled the country.
At the strike of midnight of the August 15, 1947, India shook off the shackles of British Rule and became free. It was a night of celebration all over the country.
India's First Prime Minister Speech
"Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we will redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance... We end today a period of ill fortune, and India discovers herself again."
- Jawaharlal Nehru
(Speech on Indian Independence Day, 1947)
Happy Independence Day Once Again!

sai baba is great

Sairam Dear All,
Here is a beautiful video as well as the title song in Tamil of the famous Shirdi Sai Baba TV serial by Ramanand Sagar Production as aired in Star Vijay in Tamil Language .
Devotees can download the Title song in Tamil of the serial as well as watch the video of the same .

The present work has taken shape by translating and scripting Telugu audio of Kakasaheb Dixit Diary into English script from www.saibaba.com. Taking up this task of translating the audio and scripting it in English was of highly tedious and lengthy nature. Still grace and will of Lord Sai Baba worked on because it was His direction to do so. On this occasion of Gurupoornima (2012) i am glad to share this treasure with Devotee Readers. Parts of this diary will be shared subsequently. Kindly visit our blog for full version of the diary. This is how all things happened. About one year ago (i.e in early 2011) while getting hooked with my daily...
